Sara Hasslinger is a mixed media Artist who works individually and collaboratively. After accomplishing the foundation year at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 1997, she earned a degree in Fine Arts and Art Education at the University of Milwaukee, WI in 2001. Then went on to attain a license in Cosmetology at the Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2003. Currently, she is living in Austin Texas and working in The Rainbow Alley Studios.
She enjoys making custom works of art, utilizing art for social change, and giving people amazing new hairdoos! Her work incorporates painting, sewing, sculpting, photography, printmaking, reimagining, and much more. Bright colors absorb into her and radiate out her fingertips and brain. Through the abilities to be resourceful and harmonize within chaos, Sara is a human catalyst for creativity. In her mind, all art is experimental and experiencial, and life is her playground.
